BFA Student, Shenkar · Multidisciplinary Artist
Artist; Maavarim in the Knesset; diplomatic work with LGBTWork & IGY; event co-producer — art, space, and collective memory.
I am Yair Natansohn, a multidisciplinary artist currently pursuing a BFA at Shenkar College of Engineering, Design and Art. My practice draws from a rare confluence of backgrounds: fine art, public discourse, and the architecture of live experience.
I represented Maavarim — Israel's leading organization for the trans community — in the Knesset, bringing community voices into parliamentary spaces.
Separate from that parliamentary work, I supported LGBTWork and IGY in diplomatic settings: co-hosting receptions at the residences of the United Kingdom and Canada ambassadors, and representing LGBTQ+ communities in diplomatic circles — including in Austria. That strand sharpened how I read space, narrative, and presence in formal and intimate gathering places. Each thread feeds my practice today.
When the moment calls for it, I also step behind the decks, producing and DJing music that transforms atmosphere into something felt rather than merely heard.
Let's create something remarkable together.
Whether you're looking to commission a piece, explore a collaboration, book a DJ set, or simply have a conversation about art and ideas. Use the form to send a message. I'd love to hear from you.
